Dartford Township Choir is unusual in that we employ a number of different musical
directors (although several are regulars) to organise ‘stand-
The choir welcomes new members, from experienced singers to people who have never been in a choir before but would like to give it a try. The only requirement is that you must be 18 or older.
Typical cost for a series of 6 or 7 workshops, each usually lasting 2 hours, and leading to a performance, is between £65 and £75. These are slightly higher than previously, as all our costs have risen substantially in the last year or two. Sadly, costs are still rising so we may have to increase again next year, but we still think they represent very good value, and compare favourably with most other choirs.

THIS IS IMPORTANT
Township Choir relies on a fairly small group of people (a.k.a. The committee) to organise everything. All are unpaid but give their time willingly so that all the projects are able to proceed.
IF YOU WANT DARTFORD TOWNSHIP CHOIR TO CONTINUE, CONSIDER JOINING THE COMMITTEE, WITHOUT AN ACTIVE COMMITTEE THE CHOIR WILL CEASE TO EXIST.
We have to balance affordability with our future. We keep costs down wherever possible, but some are beyond our control and unavoidable. This all requires a dedicated few to keep DTC going.
