Welcome to the Dartford Township Choir web site.
Dartford Township Choir (DTC) is a voluntary, non-profit making, group of people who like to
sing.
It was created in 2008 to promote and organize adult participation in world music singing
workshops and public performances. To read a little more background information, look at the
History page.
Unlike conventional choirs, DTC arranges stand-alone series of workshops, typically 6 sessions,
each lasting 2 hours, followed by a performance. By offering these short courses we attract
people who might not wish to commit to a full-time choir.
The choir welcomes new members, from experienced singers to people who have never been
in a choir before but would like to give it a try. Typical cost for a series of 6 or 7 workshops,
each lasting 2 hours, is between £35 and £50. Once you’ve tried it you’ll consider it great value!
